AI search visibility

What an assistant says when someone asks for an agency like yours

When an employer searches for a specialist or asks an AI assistant, your public explanation needs to be findable, readable and accurate. We check relevant results, improve the pages that describe your agency and record what appears, with a separate measure for useful employer enquiries.

Expertise to enquiry: Start with the deskState the sectors, roles and situations your agency understands, with evidence you are allowed to publish. Agency expertise → Readable website → Employer enquiry. This illustrates the method. Rankings, indexing and AI citations depend on external systems and are never guaranteed.
Step 1 of 4
  1. State the sectors, roles and situations your agency understands, with evidence you are allowed to publish.

  2. Deliver the important words in server HTML. Structured data describes those same visible facts.

  3. A person following a referral, a search engine or an AI reader can assess the specialism and how you work.

  4. Route an employer enquiry to the right conversation. Measure it separately from candidate applications.

Help a new employer understand why your desk is relevant

Your sectors, roles, approach and evidence give a stranger something to assess. ‘People solutions’ gives them two words and a small translation job. We build the public explanation first, then check how it is delivered to search engines and other readers.

Make the explanation available

Google can run JavaScript; not every reader can. We put the important explanation in the first HTML response, with interactive parts added around it. That makes the words available without waiting for scripts to assemble them.

Say it where it can be read

A clear answer in plain HTML, high on the page, is easier for a person to skim and for a machine to parse than the same point hidden behind a cookie wall and a rotating banner.

Let the crawlers you want reach you

If your robots rules block a crawler, it cannot read the page it was blocked from. Some assistants rely on independent crawlers and third-party indexes, so check what you are excluding before you exclude it.

Keep the agency facts consistent

Structured data labels facts such as your organisation, services and real vacancies. It must agree with the visible page. Google's AI features require no special AI schema, so adding more markup is no substitute for a useful explanation.

An evidence-based method

We look at what a real query returns today, record the date and the limits, make the fix, and observe what changes. A ranking on one day is a bounded observation, not a stable position, and we report it that way.

  • Baseline: what a set of real queries returns now, with dates.
  • Improve: clear public content, appropriate markup and checked crawler access.
  • Observe: what changed, over a sensible window, with limits stated.

What we will not promise: same-day indexing, a push into AI engines, a guaranteed citation, or a fixed position. None of those are within any agency's gift.

The H4TLT case study sets out the work and its reported evidence, so you can assess the method in context.

See the method in use

The published Hear 4 The Long Term case study covers website and AI visibility work for workplace hearing surveillance. It shows the approach in another sector, so assess the work and its reported evidence in the full case study, then judge a recruitment brief on its own requirements.

Concerned about what AI means for recruitment?

You do not need a prediction about the end of recruitment to set a useful website brief. Start with what your specialist judgement helps an employer decide, and whether the public pages explain it when your team is absent.

We can improve that explanation and check relevant discovery routes. A website project cannot settle where the whole industry goes, and an AI citation cannot tell you that a new client is on the way.

The technical basis is set out in Google's JavaScript SEO guidance and its guidance for AI features.

Send your agency URL and the queries your clients actually use. We will record what comes back today and whether the page is even readable to the machine.
